We spent a morning bagging up groceries at our local food pantry. They have found it easier to be able to hand people two bags of groceries instead of having them "shop the shelves" for everything. Less choice, more convenience. Anyway, if you are ever thinking about donating food to your local food pantry (a very good idea, by the way), call them and find out what they need. Or get some peanut butter, spaghetti and sauce, soup-- all good. Please don't just clean out your cupboards of junk that neither you nor anyone else wants.*
The traditional pumpkin pie and cranberry sauce holiday in the US was in November. These cans have been sitting here, unchosen, for a long time. And there is a lot of them. I didn't take any pictures of the cans of Thanksgiving goods in the attic waiting to come downstairs.

*(Of course, it's OK to clean out your cupboards of stuff that you don't like but others will.)
