The Button

Mr. Midnight and 4-year old Curly Girl were having their weekly lunch at Taco Bell when a woman came up to them with a small pin saying, "Your little girl dropped her pin."

Mr. Midnight told her that Curly didn't have a pin, and the woman gave it to him and said the girl could have it anyway. As the woman walked away, he looked at the button for the first time and nearly choked on his chalupa. He didn't call her back to explain her obvious mistake because he thought she would be too embarrassed.

Ah-ha-ha-ha! Isn't it a good thing the woman handed the pin to Mr M instead of Curly Girl, though? I am imagining awkward four-year-old questions...
