how do I add text to explain what's being counted down? Any attempts on my part to copy the way text appears elsewhere from the code result in the timer disappearing.
i like the clocklink ones ... tried one out for 24hour countdown to blowing up my weather pixie.
Finally discovered when it finished counting down where the extra text it asks you to type in when setting it up appears: the text replaces the countdown numbers when it gets down to zero.
I liked that!
There is only one problem with the clocklink counters ... they are a bit wide. It appears it's too wide for your current sidebar, emano. That's why everything in your sidebar has sunk to the bottom of the page.

Maybe if you just try inserting a line of text before the whole javascript thingy
If you want it as header (will match the "Now Playing" fontsize)

for ordinary paragraph style text.
There are countdown and countup counters at clocklink that look a lot easier to set up.
