My 20th year high school reunion was the reason for the trip to my parents' house; my husband's grandmother's 80th birthday was the trip to my in-laws'.
I'm waiting for transporter technology to be fully developed, as transporting quantum states does me precious little good for traveling.

4 hours to my parents house on Friday; 4 hours to my in-laws on Sunday; 7 hours home on Monday.
